Hunter Grover is a 2016 2B/OF/SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Summerville, SC who attends Ashley Ridge HS. Smaller young build, has some present strength. Right handed hitter, good hitting rhythm and timing, good short path to the ball, has some developing bat speed, pull line drive swing, good contact with some jump off the barrel, solid overall approach, tools to keep improving with additional strength. 7.07 runner, soft quick hands, can turn the double play at second base, moves well laterally, good arm strength for second base and could develop into a shortstop in the next two years, can also play the outfield with athleticism. Good overall athlete. Excellent student. Named to the Top Prospect Team for this showcase.
