Thomas Koide is a 2016 RHP/MIF, 3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Morristown, NJ who attends West Morris Mendham. Athletic frame, young build with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works from a mid three-quarter arm slot with a quick arm. Sound mechanics which he repeats well, poised on the mound. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with nice run to arm side which he brought in to right-handed hitters. Curveball shows sharp 11-5 break with downward depth at 65 mph. Fluid and athletic actions in the infield, long release, moves well with range up middle, good arm strength across. Right-handed hitter, small hand hitch at start, line drive swing path, keeps hands in, balanced approach, pull side approach and contact. Very good student.
