Colton Bender is a 2017 C/MIF, 3B with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Lebanon, CT who attends Lyman Memorial. Young, solidly built catcher's frame with more room to continue adding strength. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Shows off a quick transfer from behind the plate. Raw arm strength is still developing but makes accurate throws. Shows solid receiving actions. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and carries his hands low. Stays balanced and gets good extension. Has a fluid, quick swing path and hits to all fields. Very good student.
