Michael D'Elia is a 2014 OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Clark, NJ who attends Arthur L Johnson. Compact frame, thin build with room to fill. Hits from a spread stance, negative weigth shift causes him to collapse backside slightly and get less weight transferred through the baseball, could drive the ball with more authority with an adjustment. Hands away from body, line drive swing plane, long two handed finish, lets ball travel deep into hitting zone. Accurate outfield throws, quick defensive actions, moves to ball well. Excellent student.
