Darion Jacoby is a 2017 OF/2B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Pottsville, PA who attends Pottsville Area. Has lean build with room to fill out and add strength to frame. Right handed hitter who hits from an open start and a high hand set. Leg lift trigger. Hands are quick and generates solid bat speed. Has good feel for barrel and makes consistent contact with a fluid line drive swing. Stays balanced through out swing and shows lift in swing. Took solid round of batting practice. Primary OF, good actions and feet to ball, gets under throws at times but shows good accuracy to bag. Solid runner with a 6.86 sixty. Good Student. Named to Jr. National Top Prospect List.
