Levi Fey is a 2008 2B/3B with a 5'11", 155 lb frame from Mesquite, TX who attends John Horn HS. Levi has a lean athletic build with some room to fill out and showed quality quick-twitch tools. At the plate Levi has good bat speed with a line-drive swing plane. He tends to pull off the ball fairly hard and will swing through a good amount of pitches. Once he learns to improve his balance and weight transfer he should see a lot of improvement at the plate. In the infield Levi is a high energy player that has good hands and gets after the ball well. His arm action could use a little work, but he has the athletic ability to stay in the infield. Levi is a strong student that could attract the attention of many smaller level college programs.

Fey is a 5-9, 150 lb sophomore second baseman from Texas. He ran the 60 in 7.35 and threw 72 mph during infield drills. Fey has quick feet on defense and moves well to balls. He'll need to work on softening up his hands on ground balls. Offensively, Fey hits with a very early loading action and a short line drive swing. The wood bat is a bit heavy for him right now and he will improve with more strength. Fey plays hard and hustles all the time.
