Connor Baine is a 2018 1B/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Lovettsville, VA who attends Paul Vl Catholic High School. Baine has a long lean build with room to fill out and add strength. hits from an open stance, starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Has present strength in swing, hits to all fields wtih good contact. Stays inside ball well. Ball will jump off barrel. Defensively, short arm action to over the top slot, stays on top of the ball. Feet work well coming off base, accurate throws. Also pitched. short arm action, to 3/4 arm slot, online delivery, works downhill on fastball. Curveball has 12/6 shape with depth. Good Student.
