Trever Reeves is a 5'7" 180 pound 2006 right handed pitcher and outfielder from Stansbury Park, Utah who attends Juan Diego High School. He has a small compact frame and build with a strong lower half. Trever has a compact delivery and a good idea on the mound by keeping the ball down in the strike zone a lot. His fastball showed good life at 83 mph and he works both sides of the plate with it. His best pitch is his curveball at 69 mph. It has very good depth to it and good rotation. He keeps hitter honest by throwing both pitches for strikes and puts them away with his nasty curveball. He also showed good arm strength in the outfield by throwing 81 mph. He also ran a 7.36 60 during the workout. Reeves shows a good line drive approach to his swing with very good balance. He has a short compact swing and makes solid contact to all fields. Trever is a good student and with some dedication off the field should open some eyes when he is a senior.
