Austen Kenney is a 2014 C/3B, 1B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Douglas County HS. Has a large frame with present strength. As a catcher he showed good actions behind the plate and showed a quick transfer and release. As an infielder he showed good footwork receives the ball well with playable arm strength. As a right handed hitter he hit from a square stance with a quiet load and a good hand path to the ball with good balance in his finish. He showed a line drive swing plane with a good bat path.
