Grady Paine is a 2015 C/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Falls Church, VA who attends Mclean. Large, athletic frame with nice present strength in build and some room to fill out. Ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, starts with a low set, shows nice hands receiving with a quick release, blocks well in the dirt, shows projectable actions with arm strength that will continue to develop. Left-handed hitter, starts with a wide base, low crouch and a high hand set. Quick timing trigger, gets the barrel through the zone and to the ball consistently, shows both bat speed and strength with a feel to lift to the opposite field. Very good student.
