Tyler Miller is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Conroe, TX who attends Oak Ridge HS. Large build with good present strength. Compact mechanics, rotational delivery, low 3/4's arm slot, comes at hitters from the third base side. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 84 mph, heaving running action on fastball to the arm side, pitches arm side often, fastball glove side cuts consistently. Big sweeping slider at 73-75 mph, developing change up. Works around the plate and has some idea how to pitch. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, limited shift into contact, pull back load, pull and lift approach, upper cut swing plane, handles the barrel well, will show power on balls over the plate. Very good student.
