Shane Fodness is a 2015 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends New Braunfels. Fodness has a long lean build with room to fill out and add strength. Hits from a slightly open stance, line drive swing plane with lift, good extension through ball. Aggressive approach and consistently squared up ball. Took solid round of batting practice. Defensively, athletic actions, short quick arm action, feet work and has soft hands with a quick release. Also pitches. Short arm action to 3/4 slot, loose arm with an online delivery. Has feel for an 11/5 curveball with good depth. Good student.
