Patrick Sharshel is a 2008 C/1B with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, who attends Thunder Ridge High School. Sharshel has a good frame that is tall and projectable. Defensively he has an accurate throwing arm from behind the plate, and his throws were 73 mph. Sharshel blocks balls in the dirt keeping them in front of him well with a nice weight shift. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from wide base. He has a line drive swing plane, and he shows bat speed through the hitting zone. He gets his foot down well getting leverage at the point of contact, and he shows projectable power. Sharshel has the ability to hit to all fields, and he has a good eye. He also runs the bases well. Sharshel is a good student.
