Jayse McLean is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Great Falls, MT who attends C M Russell HS. Tall, lean athletic build, projects well. 6.97 runner, uses speed well in games, clean outfield actions, works through the ball well, long arm action, has some raw arm strength, can improve arm accuracy but gets on top of throws well. Left handed hitter, open spread stance, smooth swing with some bat speed, quiet approach, keeps it short to the ball, will hit to all fields, more of a contact approach but could develop power with adjustments. Interesting athlete with a good tool set and lots of physical projection. Very good student.
