Patrick Weed is a 2016 1B/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Orange, CA who attends Villa Park. Medium, slender young frame with a lot of room to grow. Ran a 7.67 60 yard dash. Arm strength is still developing, moves well to the ball in the outfield and at first base. Bats left-handed, works from a solid base and carries his back elbow high. Makes line drive contact to the middle of the field and shows a consistent bat path. Can inside out pitches to the opposite field. Good student.
