Ethan Pompa is a 2016 C/3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Flour Bluff HS. Slender young build, starting to show some strength. Right handed hitter, open stance with late close, short efficient swing, good hitting mechanics, mid field line drive contact, finds the barrel consistently, ball carried well off the bat in games, has some hitting tools to develop with additional strength. Young catching skills and tools, arm strength still in the works, high exchange and release raises pop times, works hard behind the plate. Good student.
