Dustin Walicky is a 2016 3B with a 5-10 240 lb. frame from Belleville, NJ who attends Belleville HS. Medium-large frame with strong, sturdy build throughout body. Very strong throughout. Hits from open stance and loads hands back and up with elbow torque pre-swing, shows good strength throughout swing and has the ability to drive the baseball. Line drive swing plane with whole-field approach, Will create extra length to swing at times but does so at the behest of generating more power. Worked out defensively in the infield, profiles well at 3rd base. Funnels the ball well when fielding and shows clean hand actions, bends well at the waist to field low to the ground, shows willingness to lay out for balls to either side. Gathers well and generally has a quick release across. Infield velocity topped at 76 MPH across the diamond. Very good student.
