Michael Tylicki is a 2017 SS/2B, OF, RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Thurmont, MD who attends Catoctin HS. Medium frame, long and slender build, room to fill out physically as he continues to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.14 60-yard dash. From the infield, short footwork to the ball flashing athletic actions. Showed good range up the middle and solid lateral movements. Has short arm action on throws with developing arm strength. At the plate, starts with a wide base and hands extending back toward the catcher on his load. Full swing on a line drive swing plane. Generates fit at the point of contact, tendency to hit against backside. Disciplined approach at the plate, good awareness of the strike zone. On the mound, throws from a 3/4 arm slot, long arm action, solid arm speed. Will see more velocity as he continues to incorporate lower half and extension on finish. Curveball has 11/5 shape with good depth. Changeup showed good deceptiveness with some late bite. Does a nice job of keeping hitters off balance. Excellent student.
