Ryan Brown is a 2016 OF/ with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Hagerstown, MD who attends St James. Medium frame, athletic well-proportioned build with developing strength. Ran a 6.54 60-yard dash. Light on his feet in the outfield, moves well and fields out in front, shows ability to get on top of the ball. Good arm strength and armspeed, throws show good carry, reached 87 mph in defensive drills. Right handed hitter, leg lift trigger, shifts to contact, shows good bat speed. Hits off frontside, flashes strength off of the barrel, drives ball to the gaps. Shows occasional lift and has ability to backspin the ball. Good overall tools and skill set that project well at the next level. Very good student, verbal commitment to Charleston Southern. Named to Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List.
