Tyler Jones is a 2017 RHP/ with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Sanford, FL who attends Bishop Moore. Jones has a medium sized frame with a stockyish build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He has an extended release and has some effort at release. Jones uses a simple leg raise to get to balance point and dips some on his back side. He has an upright release and has some quickness in his arm. Jones gets some life on his fastball and locates it well. He throws a sweeping curveball at 74 MPH with some feel for it and can spin it a bit. He also throws a change up at 75 with sink on it. He located his change up down in the zone well and uses a 3 pitch mix to attack hitters.
