Aaron Dammel is a 2016 SS/OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Lone Tree, CO who attends Highlands Ranch HS. Medium young build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.45 runner, moves well laterally on defense, stays balanced well fielding which creates soft hands, accurate arm with developing arm strength, charged the ball well, projects defensively. Left handed hitter, wrapped start creates length to contact, upper body rotational swing, line drive swing plane, has feet closed in set up locking up his hips, has easy adjustments he can make to improve offensively as he gets stronger. Also pitched, low 70's fastball topped out at 73 mph, soft secondary offerings, threw strikes and made hitters swing the bat. Good student.
