Nathan Wyss is a 2007 C/1B with a 5'10'', 175 lb. frame from Naples FL, who attends Gulf Coast. Nathan has a solid body with a good catches build. Nathan has good arm strength with carry on his throws. Nathan has a wide catching stance and receives the ball well. Nathan has some length in his release and throws with effort. At the plate, Nathan starts with a spread stance and stays balanced through his swing. He has a short swing and and really attacks the ball. Nathan stays back well and makes consistent solid contact. He has present gap to gap pop with more power potential on the way. Nathan has bat speed and good hand strength. He has the ability to hit the ball to all fields on a consistent basis and has a high average approach. Nathan is a solid prospect and an excellent student.

Wyss is a 5-10 2006 catcher from Florida with a mature body. Wyss showed good toughness behind the plate to go with a solid 1.99 pop time. Wyss has looked good defensively behind the plate with good arm strength at 78 mph on throws to second base. Wyss looked good at the plate as well. He demonstrated good bat speed and showed nice hand strength in his swing. Wyss starts from a wide stance and has lift in his swing. Wyss has power potential and made some real nice adjustments at the plate in games. Wyss is a good player and is a good student.
