Stephen Peterson is a 2006 left handed pitcher from St John's Prep HS in Wilmington, Massachusetts, with a tall and lean 6'2"/195 pound frame. Peterson pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action and a short backside. He has very good arm speed and uses minimal effort in his balanced delivery with a high leg kick. He has arm side life on his 83 mph fastball. Stephen's curveball has 12-6 break with depth at 68 mph and he maintains his arm speed in his changeup. Peterson mixes his pitches well and has good command of all three of them. He had a very good outing in game action.
