Jack Jorgenson is a 2009 RHP/IF with a 6'2'', 168 lb. frame from Milwaukee, WI who attends Milwaukee Lutheran HS. Slender build, long legs. Long extended high 3/4's release, arm works, repeats delivery. FB 80-81 mph, mostly straight, downhill plane. CB soft consistent spin, may be better with SL, feel for a change. Needs more strength. Wide base with straight stance, showed some bat speed, gets full hip turn. Excellent student.

Jack Jorgenson is a 2009 RHP/IF with a 6'1'', 150 lb. frame from Milwaukee WI, who attends Milwaukee Lutheran HS. He has a thin, young body that hasn't started to add strength yet. Jorgenson has a simple turn and throw delivery and a long and fast arm action, although he does have some downward stabbing action at the back of his arm circle. Jorgenson's fastball was steady at 79-81 mph and it's easy to project him to throw harder in the future. Jorgenson created very good spin on his curveball and got sharp sweeping 10/4 bite on the pitch. He's on the side of his curveball a bit and could turn it into more of a downer CB with some adjustments. Jorgenson mixed in a few change ups but appeared to be gripping this pitch too tightly. Jorgenson worked quickly and aggressively and threw strikes early in the count. He's a nice looking projectable pitcher who should be followed closely. Jorgenson is also an excellent student.
