David Johnston is a 2014 2B/SS, 3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Elmont, NY who attends Sewanhaka High School. Taller, wiry build, very projectable frame. Ran a 7.28 60 yard dash. Flashes some arm strength across the infield, moves around well and shows the footwork to play up the middle. More arm strength should develop. Fits into a second base profile. Hits right-handed, works from a wide base and has a slashing type approach. Holds his hands high, tends to get onto his front foot. Makes line drive contact.
