Joezer Huertas Ortiz is a 2012 RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Dorado, PR who attends College Carmen Sol. Medium athletic build, loose actions. Leg tuck/coil delivery, gets turned well, long whippy arm action, low 3/4's to side arm slot, could probably throw submarine effectively, really extends out front. Steady low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, gets good sink and running action. Good curveball spin with bite and deep sweeping break, gets nice action on change up. Throws strikes and is effective when down in the zone, uncomfortable for right handed hitters.
