Jeffrey Lonnecker is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 5-8 167 lb. frame from Bellaire, TX who attends St. John's School. Lonnecker has a medium sized frame with a lean build. He pitches from an over the top arm slot with a long extended arm action. He pitches with lower effort and maintains good balance through his delivery. Lonnecker repeats his delivery and works to both sides of the plate. He throws an 11/5 curveball with developing shape to it. Defensively, Lonnecker moves well around the base at first base with developing arm strength. At the plate, Lonnecker starts with a slightly open stance with a high hand set. He has a longer swing path with developing bat speed. Excellent student.
