Brayden Batson is a 2016 2B/OF, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Clarksville, TN who attends Clarksville Academy. Medium frame, lean build with room to fill out. Solid present athleticism and body control, ran a 7.15 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, wide base with slightly open stance. Shows solid hand quickness, able to keep hands inside the ball, has middle of the field approach, can get bit rotational with upper half. Feel for the barrel, flashes hard contact to the pullside when extended. Has ability to play all over the field, moves well to ball, has softer hands and showed off accurate arm from both second and third base. Also pitches, has compact arm-action, uses up-tempo energetic delivery and works to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball up to 75 mph, able to throw strikes with pitch. Also flashed solid curveball with 11/5 shape and depth. Able to keep hitters off balance and get outs. Very good student.
