Jansen Cosart is a 2013 MIF/OF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Creek. Strong athletic build, looks bigger than listed. Right handed hitter, quiet set up with a simple balanced approach, stays back and inside the ball, line drive swing plane, has some strength and gap to gap power, ball comes off the barrel well, solid overall swing mechanics. 7.29 runner, long loose arm action, some developing arm strength, third base tools and actions. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot, long loose arm action on the mound as well, simple on line mechanics, rotational leg swing delivery. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight, soft mid 60's curveball, had some sink on his change up. Good student.
