Enrique Colon is a 2014 OF/LHP with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Caguas Military Academy. Slender young build, room to get stronger. 6.79 runner, long outfield actions with big crow hop, some developing arm strength. Left handed hitter, open stance, high hands, short rotational swing, line drive plane, should improve with additional strength. Very good base runner, uses his speed well and gets good jumps. Also pitched, clean easy arm action, mid 3/4's release, fastball topped at 78 mph, will cut his fastball with some bite at 74 mph, big breaking curveball with nice spin and sweeping depth, has the potential to keep improving on the mound. Very good student.
