Ross Korosec is a 2016 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Winter Springs HS. Medium frame, slender build with long limbs, full of athleticism. Tight, narrow setup, well-paced delivery with good rhythm, slight hip turn and pause at apex of leg lift. Hides ball very well, maintains good line to plate, compact arm-action with ability to get extension, out in front over front side. Fastball up to 89 mph, shows sink and late life down in the strike zone. Solid feel for curveball, flashed some late break, finish to the gloveside on 11/5 break, shows ability to spin ball and locate for called strikes. Also flashed changeup, used offering for chase pitch, consistently able to locate down in zone. Good student, verbal commitment to University of South Florida.
