Craig Stafford is a 2014 RHP/2B/3B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Folsom, CA who attends Folsom HS. Small, slender build, young look. Extended 2 piece arm action, 3/4's arm slot, loose arm coming through. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight, can elevate fastball past hitters, throws strikes with fastball and makes hitters swing the bat. Big breaking soft curveball with 11/5 depth. Shows athletic ability as position player, good range defensively, smooth actions, lateral agility, throws have good carry. Right handed hitter, rotational swing with good swing plane, handles the barrel well and squares up, good loose extension out front. Projects in all areas with additional strength.
