Hector Hernandez is a 2014 1B/3B, RHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Spring Woods. Solid projectable frame with a good build. Has a quick release across the infield with good fielding actions, makes plays and has good feet around the bag showing off his flexibility. Has an open stance at the plate with an aggressive approach at the plate. Has bat speed with leverage in swing pop in his bat, and makes consistent contact. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound with a medium arm action, lets his fielders work for him and has 11-5 break on his curveball. Is a great student.
