David Huerta is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Southwest Miami HS. Smaller young build, minimal present strength. Loose long arm action in back, 3/4's arm slot, whippy arm action, tends to open early and spin off his front side, some effort at release. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, mostly straight, commands fastball well and will try to pitch to spots. Soft curveball with short break, tends to cast curveball in back. Challenges hitters and makes them swing the bats.
