Kevin Han is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Diamond Bar, CA who attends Diamond Bar HS. Large, athletic build with broad shoulders and strong, well put together frame. Ran a 7.67 70-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works with a short arm action in the back and a three-quarter release point. High leg raise up past belt with a short hip turn at top of gather on backside, has tempo to delivery and hides ball in back. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, showed running life with extension out front creating ability to work down in zone. Shows comfort to get to glove side and work in on right-handed hitters, holds out of stretch. Curveball comes out same slot, short depth with 11-5 shape, throws harder version with slider feel and shorter break. Slows arm action slightly on changeup but creates fading life. Stays off barrels well. Moves well in the infield and fields the ball out front, gets behind the ball, longer release with strength across. Right-handed hitter, starts with a high back elbow and uses a small toe tap trigger. Stays short to ball with slight uphill plane, creates steady contact to pull side with bat speed through zone and nice balance in lower half. Good student.
