Michael Abate is a 2013 OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Wayne, NJ who attends Wayne Hills. Lean, athletic player with room to fill out and add strength. Good athlete with hop in step and feel for fielding in outfield. Feet are good, gets in position. Long arm action, ball comes out well, looseness in arm with more to come. Left handed hitter, aggressive swing, wide base. Mostly to left center field. Battles at plate and takes good at bats. More to come in future. Good student.
