Matthew Robbins is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Hartland, WI who attends Arrowhead HS. Long wiry build, lots of room to fill out and get stronger. 7.37 runner, long extended outfield arm action, has some developing arm strength that will improve with better mechanics. Right handed hitter, upright narrow stance, upper half rotational swing with a wrapped start, long and loose swing, occasional leverage at contact when barrel gets out, potential to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, extended 3/4's arm action, mid 70's fastball topped out at 77 mph, have seen up to 80 mph in the past, good arm side running action at times, fair curveball spin at times, uses a knuckleball as a change up. Good student.

Throws from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound, drop and drive delivery, good online delivery, loose long arm action, arm side run on his fastball, fastball tails, is around the zone with his pitches, curveball has a 10-4 break to it. In the outfield throws from a 3/4 arm slot, long arm action, has carry on throws, good hands. Shows bat speed at the plate, short swing, has an aggressive approach, hit the ball hard to left field, good balance. Is an interesting prospect to follow on the mound and is an excellent student.
