Marshall Gei is a 2014 C/3B, RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Mount Juliet, TN who attends Mount Juliet. Medium, strong build. Ran a 7.74 60 yard dash. Shows a strong arm from behind the plate, gets the ball out quickly and makes consistently accurate throws. Quality receiver in the making. Also moves well in the infield. Bats from both sides of the plate, works from a wide set, uses a toe tap trigger and is consistent both ways. Stays short and quick to the ball, hits hard line drives. Also took the mound, reached 80 mph with his fastball from an over the top arm slot. Has a clean, easy arm action and has more velocity coming. Throws a lot of strikes. Also mixes 12-6 curveball with impressive depth. Shows potential with his changeup. Well rounded two way prospect. Outstanding student.
