Mitch Osinski is a 2014 C/RHP with a 6-0 225 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Carmel HS. Thick frame, particularly his lower half, has some present strength. Solid receiving skills behind the plate, looks balanced, needs to block better. Impressive arm strength, short arm action and has the footwork. Right-handed batter, hits from a slightly open stance. Hits off his back leg at times, shows some line drive contact, has some power potential. Looks like he has an idea at the plate, but swing gets long at times. Also pitched, gets downhill well and has a long arm action. Up to 81 mph with his fastball, works up in the zone, flashes a short slider at 75 mph.
