Jordan Monahan is a 2014 2B/SS, OF, 3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Kirkwood Sr. Monahan has a medium sized frame with a muscular upper body. Defensively, he has good footwork to the baseball with solid transfers. He throws with a short arm action and tends to push the ball. Monahan has developing arm strength and profiles best at 2B. At the plate, Monahan starts with a crouched square stance and uses a short stride to start his swing. He has a middle of the field approach with simple swing mechanics. Monahan swings on a line drive path and has good contact skills. Outstanding student.
