Haden Schoen is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Prairieville, LA who attends Parkview Baptist HS. Large projectable frame with a strong build. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot, medium arm action, good balance, easy repeatable deceptive delivery, pitches downhill. Aggressive with his fastball, gets arm side run on his fastball, curveball has a 12-6 break to it which he has a good feel for, curveball has a good big break, gets downhill on his change up, has good command of his pitches, mixes his pitches well. Is an interesting prospect to follow and is a good student.
