Carlos Villegas is a 2014 C/OF with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Rio Grande, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Strong compact athletic build. Good quickness behind the plate, very high energy blocker with good shifting ability, receives the ball well, some arm strength with a quick release, 1.95 best pop time. Right handed hitter, aggressive hitter, has some bat speed, looks to pull and has some backside collapse, line drive swing plane. Like his energy and approach to the game. Very good student.
