Cannon Rodgers is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Vestavia Hills HS. Big well proportioned physical build, very strong for his age. Right handed hitter, spread no stride stance, limited shift or rhythm, long loose swing, flashes hard mid field contact, patient game approach, has the strength to hit but must make some adjustments. 7.50 runner, has some arm strength, good footwork and actions, accurate throws. Also pitched, tall and fall delivery, lands open, fastball to 78 mph, mostly straight, good tight spin on his curveball, settled in well. Good athlete with potential to improve with hitting adjustments. Good student.
