Marshall Farren is a 2015 SS/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Brebeuf Jesuit Prep. Extra large, athletic frame, long limbs with a lean, projectable build. Charges ball nicely, flashes lateral agility, solid arm strength across the diamond, sound actions. On the mound throws from a high three-quarter arm slot with a long arm action in back. Fastball topped at 77 mph with which he mixed in a sinking changeup at 64 mph and a curveball that flashes 11/5 spin. Threw all three for strikes. Right handed batter, uses size and long levers to get good extension in swing, consistently getting the barrel on the ball. Long, loose swing, aggressive approach, shows pop, contact to the middle of field. Very good student.
