Vincent Boils is a 2016 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 200 lb. frame from Somerset, KY who attends Southwestern. Strong, athletic frame with some projection. Ran a 7.75 60 yard dash. Young player that has an idea. Primary catcher who moves well behind plate with quick transfer and release. One of best pop times at 1.90. Good, accurate arm with carry down to second base. Has time to refine mechanics. Also shows good actions in the infield. Tools play at 3B. Shows a strong throw with carry across the diamond. Right handed hitter with a slightly open base and high hand set up. Sound approach with line drive swing path. Short swing with strength and flashes hard pull side power. Should see power continuing to develop. Right handed pitcher who throws from over the top arm slot. Easy, controlled delivery with clean arm action. Fastball flashes occasional cut and up to 80 mph. Complements fastball with 12/6 curveball which flashes good depths. Throws strikes with both pitches. Good, young player. Named to Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
