Ray Hutchinson is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Holden, LA who attends Holden HS. Has an athletic frame with a strong build. At the plate he has an open stance with a leg raise trigger, with an aggressive swing, shows bat speed, is able to square the ball up and has pop in his bat. In the infield he throws from a lower arm alot, has a long arm action, stays online, has good actions with good arm strength. On the mound he has a long loose arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot, has a fast easy arm, the ball comes out clean, smooth deliberate delivery with simple mechanics. The ball jumps out of his hand, throws with easy effort, run on his fastball, is aggressive with his fastball, and his curveball has 11-5 break to it with good downward actions. Is an intriguing 2-way guy to follow.
