Corby Punian is a 2014 RHP with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Slender young build, minimal present strength. Tucked delivery with pause at the top, compact arm action, tight 3/4's release point, good direction to the plate, some effort/head pull on release. Steady low 80's fastball, cuts fastball at times, consistent release point on change up. Soft curveball from low elbow release, throws curveball for strikes and uses early in count. Should continue to improve with more strength. Good student.
