Cooper Danforth is a 6'2" 160 pound 2007 left handed pitcher and outfielder Lee's Summit, Missouri who attends Blue Springs South High School. He has good life on his fastball at 76 mph with nice sinking action. His curveball was 64 mph and his change up 72 mph. He paints the corners and stays off the middle of the plate. His body looks to be ready to fill out. At the plate, he hit ok in batting practice with above average bat speed.Cooper moves well for a primary pitcher with 7.25 sixty speed and 4.53 home to first base time. In the outfield he showed good arm strength by throwing 76 mph from the outfield with clean transfers and athletic actions. A left handed hitter with some line drive power, he has good bat speed and a flat swing. Cooper is a good student with a 3.57 gpa who was named to the Top Prospect game as well.
