Cody Sedlock is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-4 203 lb. frame from Sherrard, IL who attends Alleman HS. Slender upper half, stronger lower half, young look, very projectable. Fast paced high energy delivery, back leg hitch, compact high arm action, 3/4's tight arm slot, fast arm, some effort at release, has deception and repeats surprisingly well. Very distinct 2-seam/4-seam fastball approach, 85-87 FB gets good sink and run, tops out at 89 mph on the 4-seamer. Good spin and power to the curveball, shows depth at times, also mixes in short lane changer slider at 80 mph. Good fade on change up but tends to slow arm, mixes his pitches and is around the zone. Works very quickly and could probably slow down a bit. Right handed hitter, has big strength in his swing, power potential, long swing with some effort but ball jumps when squared, tends to get to front side early and lunge at ball, best when staying back, has bat speed.
