Conner Prater is a 2014 OF/IF with a 6-0 192 lb. frame from Melbourne, FL who attends Viera HS. Large frame, strong athletic build with present strength. Long extended swing, high finish, consistent hard contact, good bat speed, looks to life, good raw power. Good sound at contact, ball jumps, swings hard, stays behind the ball well, good extension, hard in-game contact. Showed well both in BP and in game ABs. Strong arm, can get more on throws with better extension and use of momentum, moves well, accurate throws. Very good student.
